Artist Statement

I work in whatever medium the idea asks for. Watercolor when something needs to breathe, charcoal when it needs weight, marker when it needs to move fast. The thread through all of it is the same: I want to make people stop and look a second longer. Right now I am most curious about how a flat drawing can hold real space, which is why perspective and composition pull at me, and why a living, designed landscape feels like the next thing I want to learn.
