Artist Statement

My work begins with looking closely. I move comfortably between nine traditional mediums and digital tools, drawing on watercolor for its softness, charcoal for its weight, and perspective drawing for its order. As a junior at Flint Hill carrying a 3.89 grade point average with Honors, I bring discipline to the studio and curiosity to every brief. For a landscaping design firm, I see a craft that asks the same questions I love: how light falls, how a space invites a person in, how a plan becomes a place.
