High school honors student building a foundation in fine art, perspective drawing, and digital design, and ready to learn studio process from the ground up this summer.
I am a junior at Flint Hill School pursuing a creative path in design. My work spans nine fine art mediums, from watercolor and oil paint to charcoal and alcohol marker, and I have trained in one point and two point perspective, the same spatial language used to plan gardens, walkways, and structures before they are built.
Beyond the studio, I lead. As captain of my soccer team I set the tone, keep teammates accountable, and stay steady under pressure. I was honored with my school Freshman Class Citizenship Award and I give my time to causes I believe in. What I hope to learn this summer is how a real design studio carries an idea from a first sketch to a finished, built result, and I am ready to do the groundwork that earns that knowledge.
